On Wednesday afternoon, a cyclist was injured in an accident on Loppersumer Straße in Hinte. According to reports, a 33-year-old Opel driver failed to notice the cyclist, resulting in a collision. The cyclist was lightly injured and treated on-site by emergency services.
In a separate incident, a hit-and-run occurred in Hage between 8 AM and 12 PM on Wednesday. The incident occurred on Katharinenweg and resulted in damage to a garage drainpipe in a four-digit euro range. Unfortunately, no culprit has been identified.
In a more troubling turn of events, a house in Upgant-Schott was broken into between Saturday, 6 PM, and Monday, 12 AM. Unknown perpetrators forced their way into a single-family home in Am Ihlingswarf Street and ransacked the premises, stealing valuables.
