Swimming pool will become accessible for leisure on August 8, following cleaning of the grounds
The leisure pool in our local community, which underwent a nearly three-week cleaning process in August 2022, is set to reopen on the 8th. During this period, the pool was thoroughly cleaned, with high-pressure cleaners and scrubbers used to ensure a pristine environment.
The water was drained from the pools in July, and during the closure, various maintenance, repairs, and technical inspections were carried out. The exterior glass facade, stairs, and pool edges were also meticulously cleaned.
Upon reopening, there will be some changes in the entry prices. The price for adults' three-hour rates and daily passes will increase by 1 euro, while children under 15 will see an increase of 50 cents for their three-hour rates and daily passes. The 90-minute short-term rate and early swimming will also increase by 50 cents each.
However, until the completion of outdoor construction work, the discounted summer rate of 15 euros for daily passes will still apply. Upon completion, tickets for the sauna area will increase by 2 euros for adults and 1 euro for children.
One of the notable updates is the inclusion of two additional units in the swimming course for beginners, the Seepferdchen course. The adjusted cost for this course is 160 euros for 14 units. This course is fully financiable through the "Education and Participation" program of the Vorpommern-Greifswald district.
Despite these changes, the leisure pool remains competitive compared to other pools in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, especially with family passes. In the future, entry prices can be discounted by up to 20% with the VIP card.
