Teenage Rollerblader Suffers Severe Injuries After Crashing into Stationary Vehicle
A traffic accident occurred in Bochum-Kornharpen on Monday afternoon, August 25, at around 4 pm. The incident took place on Kornharpener Straße, near "Auf der Prinz".
According to the local authorities, the accident involved a 34-year-old car driver from Ennepetal and a 17-year-old motorcyclist from Bochum. The motorcyclist sustained severe injuries in the accident.
The accident occurred while the car driver was parking at house number 126. The Kornharpener Street remained closed until 6 pm for the accident investigation.
Immediately after the accident, an ambulance crew arrived at the scene and took the injured motorcyclist to a hospital. The Traffic Commission has taken over the further investigations, with the investigation being led by the traffic commissioner's office (Verkehrskommissariat).
