Television personality Stefan Raab is set to collaborate with Elton on a fresh television program.
Stefan Raab, the German television personality, is set to return to screens this winter with a new quiz show, "The Unbeatable Quiz Team," alongside his former ProSieben show intern, Elton (Alexander Duszat).
The announcement of the show, which will air during prime time, has been hailed as the TV event of the year by many. Raab ended a long screen break and joined RTL around a year ago, and his return was highly anticipated.
The show, described as the ultimate quiz show, will premiere on RTL+ and classic RTL before its linear TV debut. Raab and Elton will face off against five contestants in an ultimate quiz battle, utilising their combined general knowledge and quiz experience.
Inga Leschek, RTL Germany's programming director, announced a new weekly format for Raab, with a fall start date. Raab signed a five-year exclusive contract with RTL, indicating a long-term commitment to the network.
The entertainment quiz competition hybrid show initially launched on RTL+, and Raab continued to appear on RTL shows, including "Stefan & Bully against Some Random Thing" and "Chefsache ESC 2015 - Who Will Sing for Germany?"
Laura Wontorra will host the show, with Matthias Mangiapane as the co-host. The new format will have a prize of up to 100,000 euros.
Notably, Elton had hosted the competition show "Beat the Star" on ProSieben for eight years but lost the moderation in April 2024. Raab and Elton have not yet announced a new show together following the end of "The Unbeatable Quiz Team" premiere.
