Tesla Introduces Seven-Seat Model Y in Europe

Tesla has announced the availability of a seven-seat variant of the Model Y in Europe. As of Tuesday, the option to order this family-friendly SUV was not yet advertised on German information pages, but it is expected to be available soon.

The seven-seat Model Y is produced at the German Gigafactory and will initially be available for the Model Y with the large battery and all-wheel drive (LR AWD). The retail price for this model is €57,490, an additional €2,500 for the seven-seat feature. This price includes a €6,000 discount that Tesla has been offering on all pre-produced Model Ys since June. However, this discount cannot be combined with other offers.

The third row adds an additional €2,500 surcharge in both black and white interior models. The white interior for the seven-seat Model Y costs an additional €1,200. Anyone ordering any model of the Model Y can save €1,000 using a referral code.

The Model Y LR AWD in Germany and other European countries is still available through 0% interest loans. Choosing the seven-seat option for the Model Y LR AWD does not change the 0% interest loan rate.

The seven-seat Model Y, like the US version, may have limited space. However, Tesla has ensured that the SUV remains accessible with buttons that facilitate access to the rear seats. The second row of seats in the seven-seat Model Y is operated by buttons, and it slides and folds for ease of use.

The first deliveries of the seven-seat Model Y are expected in the fourth quarter. As of Tuesday morning, no Model Y LR AWD seven-seaters were visible in the German inventory.

Tesla describes the seven-seat Model Y as a family SUV. Despite the additional seats, the Model Y continues to offer the sleek and modern design that Tesla is known for. The seven-seat Model Y is a great option for families looking for a spacious and eco-friendly vehicle.

While the person who announced the introduction of the seven-seat Model Y in Europe has not been explicitly named, Tesla fans and enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting more information about this exciting new addition to the Model Y lineup. Stay tuned for updates!
