Thai Police Arrest 83 in Illegal Gambling Bust, Seize Drugs, Weapons, and Cash

Thai police have arrested 83 individuals, including Chikoti Praveen Kumar, during a raid on an illegal gambling event at the Asia Pattaya Hotel. The operation uncovered a trove of illicit items and cash.

The bust, which took place at the Asia Pattaya Hotel, yielded illegal drugs and weapons. Authorities also seized cash, playing cards, computers, and other incriminating evidence. Kumar, the primary suspect, was among the 83 arrested.

Investigations have revealed that Kumar was hosting the illicit gambling event. Meanwhile, Big Daddy Casino, a large gaming ship that began operation in 2019, has distanced itself from Kumar. The casino, which spans over 50,000 square feet of gaming space and measures 72 meters in length and 24 meters in width, maintains it has no association with Kumar in terms of investment, ownership, management, or any other business-related aspect.

The raid on the Asia Pattaya Hotel has led to the arrest of 83 individuals and the seizure of illegal drugs, weapons, and other evidence. Chikoti Praveen Kumar's alleged ties to illegal gambling operations remain under investigation, with Big Daddy Casino denying any connection to the arrested investor.
