Deutsche Telekom operates 92 sites in the Diepholz district, improving mobile internet coverage to 94 percent and increasing fast mobile network coverage to 99 percent of households.

The mobile network in the district also supports the Advanced Mobile Location (AML) emergency technology and the Cell Broadcast warning system. AML automatically transmits the caller's location to the emergency control center during an emergency call, while the Cell Broadcast system sends danger alerts to mobile phones in the affected cell, such as in case of major fires, gas explosions, or floods.
