The city of Gießen has launched an exciting new city rally for kids, perfect for a fun-filled family outing or a children's birthday party activity during the summer holidays. The rally, named "The Gießen City Rally for Kids - Gießmo's Maze: Gießmo's Search for Gießela," is organised by Gießen Marketing.
The child-friendly route takes young participants through the heart of Gießen, ensuring movement and fun in the city. The rally can be done individually without registration and is suitable for children in primary school age. Gießmo, one of the mascots of Gießen Marketing, is on a mission to find his missing sister, Gießela, and the rally is designed around this quest.
Gießela has hidden clues for Gießmo throughout the city, and successfully guiding Gießmo through the city and finding the solution word will result in a small surprise at the Tourist Information. The rally flyer with all the stations and puzzles is now available for free at the Tourist Information.
The Tourist Information, located in the centre of Gießen, is open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. It serves as an ideal location for purchasing Gießen Marketing merchandise, including bags, mugs, water bottles, and "Gutes aus Gießen" (good things from Gießen) like honey or spirits.
In addition to the rally, the Tourist Information provides free information on events, sights, and leisure activities, as well as tickets for city tours and other events. It's a one-stop shop for everything you need to know about Gießen.
