On August 26, 2025, a significant traffic accident occurred on the A23 highway near Dägeling. The incident, which took place shortly before the Itzehoe-Süd exit at approximately 17:43, involved three passenger cars.
The accident resulted in two individuals being hospitalized with serious injuries.
