Thieves at a construction site clandestinely transporting paving stones into automobiles

Two burglars were apprehended on Tuesday, August 12, 2024, at Große Heide Street, Bielefeld, as they were clandestinely hauling construction supplies. A sharp-eyed observer spotted their wrongdoings and subsequently notified the police.

In the early hours of this morning, police in Bielefeld, Germany, apprehended two suspects at a construction site after they were observed committing a suspicious activity.

According to reports, the suspects, a 38-year-old man from Werther and a 29-year-old man from Bielefeld, were found trying to load approximately 20 paving stones into a VW Golf 1. The vehicle, registered to the Bielefeld man, was found to contain work gloves and the license plates inside the car.

The police were alerted to the scene by a witness who reported the suspicious activity to the control center. Upon arrival, the suspects were found still at the scene and were made to unload the paving stones from the car.

A breathalyzer test revealed that both suspects were intoxicated at the time of the incident. The police have filed a theft complaint against the suspects and have banned them from the construction site premises.
