Thieves in Steinfurt make off with copper pipe casings, causing substantial property damage estimated in the thousands

The downspouts were securely attached to the building with brackets, but the thieves managed to unscrew the brackets and cut the pipes out of their mounting before fleeing in an unknown direction.
