Man Under Investigation for Attempted Fraud in Cham
A 33-year-old man is under investigation for attempted fraud in the Swiss town of Cham. On Thursday morning, the incident occurred on Rodinger Street.
According to the Cham police, the man entered a local store and selected goods worth around 12 euros. He then took the matching items from the shelf and made his way towards the exit.
However, the man did not pay for the goods. Instead, he searched for a discarded receipt in both the store and a trash can outside the store. When he couldn't find one, he left the store empty-handed.
The police have video footage from the store's surveillance showing the culprit. The footage clearly shows a 33-year-old man, whose identity has been confirmed by the authorities.
The police are seeking further evidence to support the charges against the man. The investigation is ongoing, and the man remains under investigation for attempted fraud.
This incident serves as a reminder to always pay for goods and to dispose of receipts responsibly. The Cham police urge anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.
