This year, the Saarbrücken City Library is presenting an engaging summer schedule filled with diverse events.
Saarbrücken, Germany - Get ready for a summer full of learning, creativity, and fun! From July 7th to August 23rd, the city of Saarbrücken is hosting a variety of events aimed at promoting reading, creativity, and digital education.
The star attraction of these events is the BI-BUS, a mobile learning centre that will be in Saarbrücken from July 8th to 13th. On July 11th, the BI-BUS will join the summer streets in Kamekestraße, Alt-Saarbrücken.
For children aged 4 and above, the event titled "Learning to program with Bee-Bots" begins on July 7th at 10 am at Kultur-und-Lesetreff Brebach. Participants can gain first experiences with small bee robots that can be programmed in a playful way. The event is free, but prior registration by email is required at [email protected].
On July 8th and 9th, the BI-BUS will stop at the Saarbrücken Zoo, offering a visit that is free for zoo guests. A creative children's program will be offered at the Zookiosk during these days.
On July 13th, the BI-BUS will offer a family participation program at the Saarbrücken Old Town Festival.
In addition to the BI-BUS, the city library of Saarbrücken also has an exciting event program. The reading hour "Lesezeit um 10" takes place on the second floor of the city library. On July 9th at 10 am, there will be a reading hour for adults. The theme of the reading hour is "Change of scenery".
Interested parties can pick up Bingo cards at several info points of the city library for the summer action "Book Bingo". A book voucher worth 25 euros can be won with "Book Bingo".
