Thomas Kausch reappears on the screen for "Bild" - Springer, this time unveiling a fresh video platform named "Bild Play"
In a significant move for German media, Marion Horn, the chairwoman of the Bild editorial councils and a prominent figure in the journalism industry, has unveiled a new video webset for "Bild Play." This state-of-the-art facility, located within the heart of the Bild newsroom in Springer's Berlin new building, is set to revolutionize the way videos are produced and distributed.

Kausch, a former anchor of NDR news and moderator of ARD's political magazine "Fakt", premiered a new show called "Confidential!" on Bild.de on Wednesday. In this show, Kausch discusses the most important political topic of the day, airing Monday to Friday at 5 PM for 15 minutes. Kausch's co-host for "Confidential!" is a reporter from Bild's politics department, and politics chief Jan Schäfer joins him initially.
The green screen in the virtual set of the "Vodcast" makes infographics, like those in "Bild Sunday Trend", interactive. This innovation allows for a more engaging viewing experience for the audience.
Since its launch in November 2024, "Bild Play" has seen significant growth, as indicated by the increase in video views. In fact, video views on "Bild Play" have increased by 50% since its launch, totaling around 75 million media starts per month.
