Prepare for an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career! The Chamber of Crafts in Düsseldorf is hosting the 4th annual Azubi-Speed-Dating event on February 5, 2023, aimed at helping young people find their ideal apprenticeship.
Over 70 companies from the craft sector will participate in this event, which takes place from 10 am to 2 pm at the Chamber of Crafts, Georg-Schulhoff-Platz 1. The list of participating companies and available apprenticeships can be found on the Chamber of Crafts' website.
In previous years, many companies have successfully filled their vacant apprenticeships through this event, offering approximately 250 apprenticeships across approximately 40 professions. This year, the skills shortage has led many participating companies to be eager to fill their positions.
The event uses a 'dating' format where participants meet multiple applicants or business representatives. Young people have 10 minutes to make an impression on business owners or HR managers. To make the most of this opportunity, interested young people should bring their certificates, cover letters, CVs, and internship certificates to the event.
To assist young people in finding apprenticeships, the event is supplemented by career advisors from the Chamber of Crafts. These advisors provide information on career goals, requirements, and earning potential.
The Azubi-Speed-Dating event is not just a one-day affair. It is part of a comprehensive approach by the Chamber of Crafts to help young people find apprenticeships. This includes career information days at school, as well as ongoing support through WhatsApp and telephone consultations.
