Tissot showcases the alluring new SRV women's watch line, embodying the essence of Art Deco style

Swiss watchmaker Tissot has unveiled a new women's watch collection called SRV. The collection, which consists of six distinct models, pays tribute to the Art Deco movement and women's empowerment in the 1920s.

Design Inspiration and Style

The SRV collection draws inspiration from an earlier model from 1975, which itself was a reinterpretation of earlier Tissot watches dating from the 1920s. Each model in the SRV collection has a slim, rectangular case that measures 30 mm long and 21.8 mm wide, reminiscent of the Art Deco era. The collection is inspired by the Art Deco design style, characterised by geometric shapes, bold lines, and intricate patterns.

Case and Water Resistance

All models in the SRV collection feature a rectangular case with a sapphire crystal watch face. The watches have a water resistance of 50 meters, making them suitable for everyday wear.

Pricing and Models

Prices for the SRV collection range from £325 to £400. There are six models in the collection, with two models coming on a stainless steel bracelet and the rest paired with a leather strap. The green and red models of the SRV collection have matching straps and are priced at £325. The yellow gold PVD coating with diamonds model is priced at £400.

Art Deco Design Elements

The yellow gold and rose gold models of the SRV collection stick closest to the Art Deco design style. The 1970s-style yellow gold model features a black mother-of-pearl dial and diamonds at the 12, three, six, and nine positions. The green and red models of the SRV collection also have intricate design elements, adding to their overall appeal.

Power Source

The Tissot SRV collection watches are powered by a battery quartz movement with an end-of-life indicator, ensuring accurate timekeeping.

Availability

All six models of the SRV collection are available now. The designers of the Tissot SRV watch collection have not been publicly disclosed. The SRV collection marks a new chapter in Tissot's history, offering a stylish and contemporary take on the Art Deco design aesthetic.
