Today's roads are plagued with massive congestions.
In today's traffic update, we bring you a summary of the current situations on various highways across Germany and Austria.
On the A10 Villach towards Salzburg, a staggering 22 kilometers of traffic jam has been reported, causing at least 53 minutes of delay between Lammertal and Salzburg.
Moving to the A7, Ulm towards Füssen/Reutte is experiencing ongoing queue management between Reinertshoftunnel and Füssen border tunnel.
On the A6 Heilbronn towards Mannheim, a traffic jam of 11 kilometers is causing at least an hour of delay. However, on the A6 towards Mannheim, no current major congestions have been reported.
The A7 Hamburg towards Flensburg also has a traffic jam of 13 kilometers, resulting in at least 40 minutes of delay. Unfortunately, roadworks until September 8, 2025, have caused a full closure and significant delays between Owschlag and Schleswig/Schuby on the same route. Towards Hannover on the A7, lane restrictions and night construction between Hannover-Anderten and Großburgwedel are causing slowdowns until early September 2025.
On the A7 towards Würzburg and Füssen/Reutte, there are no reported major issues currently. On the A8 towards Karlsruhe, no specific heavy traffic has been noted today.
On the A7 Fulda towards Würzburg, a traffic jam of 7 kilometers is causing at least 46 minutes of delay. Meanwhile, on the A8 Stuttgart towards Karlsruhe, a traffic jam of 7 kilometers is causing at least 47 minutes of delay between Heimsheim junction and Pforzheim-Nord junction.
Lastly, on the A7 Hamburg towards Hannover, a traffic jam of 11 kilometers is causing at least an hour of delay.
