Top Notch Performers Spotted at TCU Elite Training Session in 2028!

In the world of high school basketball, talent abounds, and the TCU Elite Camp was no exception. Here are some of the standout players from the event.

Xavier Young, hailing from Faith Family in Dallas Oak Cliff, Texas, is making waves in the basketball world. Projected to be among the top 5-10 players in his class nationally, Young is already a top 20 player in the 2028 class. His performance at the TCU Elite Camp solidified his status as the best player there, with his impressive defensive skills, agility, and ability to play above the rim.

Another player who caught the eye was Jax Sharum from New Wave Academy. The 6'0 shooting guard showed off his shooting skills from deep and played with an edge, reminding some of West Texas A&M freshman Cam Cowgill.

Max Moody, from Stony Point, impressed with his quality self-creation skills and off-the-catch shooting. His ability to move without the ball and get open looks made him a valuable asset on the court.

Kingston Gould, a 6'2 point guard from Burkburnett, impressed with his scoring prowess, particularly his off-the-dribble shooting. He demonstrated his versatility by connecting on shots while playing off it as well.

Felix Okam, born in 2029 and from Grand Prairie, is an active forward with intriguing skills. He held his own against older players, playing with his length and showing off his quality shot-blocking abilities. Okam is the only player from the 2029 class to make this list.

Cameron Crenshaw, from San Antonio Wagner, is an intriguing forward with a plus wingspan, good post defense, and solid finishing skills. He is expected to improve as he gains strength.

Eric Ekwegbara, a 6'5 power forward from Houston Heights, played hard and was a big-time competitor. He scrapped for loose balls, fought on the glass, and finished through contact.

Josiah Rose, from Faith Family, is a strong body southpaw guard who is more of a ball-mover and playmaker. His reads at the TCU Elite Camp led to open looks, assists, or hockey assists.

Bae Bae Groom, from Duncanville, can shoot the ball effectively and utilizes her length defensively to tip passes or grab rebounds.

While no specific players from the Dallas Oak Cliff region were identified as being from the TCU Elite Camp 2028, South Oak Cliff was mentioned in a game preview. However, no individual TCU Elite Camp players from that area were named.

Each of these players brings something unique to the table, and it will be exciting to see how their skills develop as they continue to grow in the sport.
