Townsfolk of Neubrandenburg Regain Mobility with a Unique Focus
The 12th District Hiking Meeting is approaching, and nature enthusiasts are invited to join the event on September 20 in Neubrandenburg. Organised by the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district sports association in collaboration with the city of Neubrandenburg, local clubs, and other committed partners, this year's meeting promises to be an unforgettable experience.
Registration for participants begins at 9 am on September 20 in the city hall foyer, located in the heart of "Four Gates City". The registration deadline is set for September 13, but last-minute participants can still register on the event day between 9 am and 9:30 am if places are still available.
The opening ceremony takes place at 9:30 am, followed by the start of all hikes at 10 am. The hiking tours cater to various levels of difficulty, from relaxed riverside paths to more challenging routes. A selected tour with the liner ship "Uns Fritzing" and a guided water hike are among the highlights of this year's meeting, showcasing the landscape diversity around Lake Tollense, the cultural park, and the typical Endmoraine landscape of the region.
The event will be moderated by "Mecklenburg Cowboy" Jan Tessin, who will provide a musical atmosphere to keep spirits high throughout the day. Ten varied hiking tours will be available, ensuring there's something for everyone. The participation fee is 15 euros per person aged 12 and above, which includes participation in all tours, a meal, and a drink.
The district hiking meeting is not just for individuals; it's also suitable for families or groups. So, gather your friends and family and join us for a day filled with adventure, camaraderie, and the beauty of nature. Don't miss out on this opportunity to explore the stunning landscapes of Neubrandenburg.
