Tractor-car crash leaves three hurt
In the heart of Recklinghausen, a collision between a tractor and a car at the intersection of Lembecker Straße and Gemener Straße has caused a stir on Thursday afternoon.
The accident, which left the car driver and her 16-year-old passenger seriously injured, resulted in the temporary closure of Lembecker Straße for the duration of the investigation. The car driver, a 63-year-old resident of Dorsten, and her passenger were immediately taken to the hospital. Fortunately, the tractor driver, a 37-year-old resident of Raesfeld, sustained only light injuries.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation, and the Recklinghausen Police Directorate is working diligently to determine the exact circumstances.
