Trader Joe's Expansion plans for 2025: Check if your city is among the 41 new locations to open up stores
Trader Joe's, the popular American grocery chain known for its quirky culture and affordable prices, is set to open new stores in several cities across the nation. In Pennsylvania, the company is opening stores in Berwyn, located at 550 Lancaster Avenue, and Exton, situated at 125 West Lincoln Highway.
The chain, which has already made its mark in numerous locations, ranked as the best grocery store chain in the United States in a recent survey. Some of its established stores can be found in Hoover, Alabama; Northridge, California; Sherman Oaks, California; Tarzana, California; Tracy, California; Yucaipa, California; Westminster, Colorado; Washington, DC (two locations); 701 Monroe Street NE in Washington, DC; 2501 Tulane Avenue in New Orleans, Louisiana; 225 N Washington Street in Rockville, Maryland; and 388 Feura Bush Road in Glenmont, New York, among others.
In addition to the Pennsylvania stores, Trader Joe's is planning to open stores in Lacey, Washington, with the address yet to be announced, as well as in cities such as Philadelphia, Atlanta, Denver, and Portland. The company is also scheduled to open new stores in Hoover, Alabama, Goodyear, Arizona, Northridge, California, Sherman Oaks, California, Tarzana, California, Tracy, California, Yucaipa, California, Costa Mesa, California, La Verne, California, Westminster, Colorado, Hamden, Connecticut, Shelton, Connecticut, Washington, DC (two locations), Melbourne, Florida, Peachtree City, Georgia, New Orleans, Louisiana, Rockville, Maryland, Boston, Massachusetts, Newton, Massachusetts, Columbia, Missouri, Iselin, New Jersey, Glenmont, New York, Miller Place, New York, Staten Island, New York, and Williamsville, New York.
The addresses for some of the new stores are still pending, but Trader Joe's has announced that it will open 41 new stores nationwide in 2025. Among the upcoming locations are Gresham, Oregon, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kingwood, Texas, Bee Cave, Texas, McKinney (West), Texas, Holladay, Utah, and Ogden-Riverdale, Utah.
Trader Joe's stores are smaller than many other grocery stores and do not have self-checkouts. As of September 4, 21 of the announced Trader Joe's stores have already opened, including a store in Bellingham, Washington, located at 4255 Meridian Street, and a store in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, situated at 115 Sayebrook Parkway.
The company's expansion continues as it brings its unique shopping experience to more cities across the country.
