The Jewish Cultural Festival in Osnabrück, Germany, is set to conclude with a bang on the 7th of September 2025, as the unique ensemble, Sirba Octet, takes the stage. Hailing from Paris, this remarkable group is renowned for its revival of the traditional Klezmer music, a musical tradition deeply rooted in Southeast European Jewish culture.
The Sirba Octet consists of eight friendly musicians, some of whom are members of the esteemed Orchestre de Paris. Among them is violinist Richard Schmoucler, who has played a significant role in shaping the ensemble's unique sound.
