Traffic accident leaves e-scooter rider critically injured, according to Polish police reports (250827-2)
In the early hours of Saturday evening, around 11:45 PM, a traffic accident involving an E-scooter and a BMW occurred on the state road (L) 192 near the roundabout at Vorgebirgsstraße in Wesseling, Germany.
According to the Rhein-Erft Circle Police, the E-scooter rider, a woman, sustained severe injuries as a result of the accident. The police arrived at the scene promptly, cordoned off the area for investigation and rescue operations, and secured evidence.
The BMW driver was present at the scene and, along with another individual who stopped to provide first aid, attended to the injured woman until the rescue services arrived. The E-scooter rider was subsequently taken to a hospital.
The further investigation of the accident has been taken over by the traffic detectives. Unfortunately, the search results do not provide information about a 33-year-old man who was present at the accident site and contributed to first aid.

It is understood that the E-scooter rider intended to cross Ahrstraße at the roundabout when the accident occurred. The police have filed a traffic accident report, and the investigation is ongoing.
