Traffic Accident Resulted in Minor Injuries for Cyclist - Appeal for Witnesses

In the quiet morning of July 25th, a hit-and-run accident occurred on Theresienhöhe street in Hürth-Hermülheim. A 19-year-old cyclist was lightly injured in the incident.

The accident took place at around 6:45 am, with the cyclist riding her bike on Theresienhöhe street towards Spijkenisser street. As she approached the junction area with Konrad-Adenauer street, an unknown driver, traveling in the same direction, hit her. The cyclist fell off her bike, and the driver fled towards Theresienhöhe.

The unknown driver was driving a black car, and witnesses describe him as a middle-aged man with blonde, shoulder-length hair. He is estimated to be between 40 and 50 years old.

The Rhein-Erft-Kreis Police have initiated investigations into the accident. Alerted police officers documented the scene and filed a traffic accident report. Rescue services attended to the injured cyclist and took her to a hospital for treatment.
