Traffic Disruption: Road Blocked Due to Vehicle Accident

On Thursday evening, a collision occurred on state road 3193 between Hanau and Erlensee, resulting in extensive damages and the temporary closure of the road towards Erlensee.

According to witnesses, the collision involved two vehicles: a black Mercedes AMG and a Ford. Both vehicles were totaled, with damages estimated at over 55,000 euros. The Mercedes ended up on the side of the road, perpendicular to the direction of traffic, while the Ford spun multiple times across the entire road and ended up facing the wrong direction on the left lane.

The presumed cause of the accident was the Mercedes driver's loss of control. The 34-year-old driver sustained minor injuries, while the 46-year-old driver sustained severe injuries. Both drivers were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
