Tragic Death of 12-Year-Old Boy at Cheshire Park Identified
In a heartbreaking incident, a 12-year-old boy named Logan Carter passed away at Wharton Recreation Ground off Ledward Street, Winsford, Cheshire. The news was confirmed by Detective Sergeant John Rhodes on Saturday.
According to reports, Logan is believed to have fallen from playground apparatus. The exact cause of his death, however, remains undisclosed at this time.
Detective Sergeant Rhodes has asked the public not to speculate on the matter, particularly on social media, as this investigation is still ongoing. Logan was a much-loved son, brother, grandson, great grandson, cousin, and friend to many. His family described him as an infectious personality with a beautiful smile and a spirit that made everyone want to be around him. He was a little boy full of life, always wanting to make everyone laugh.
The family is taking comfort from the words of support they have received. In less than 24 hours, a fundraiser to help with the funeral costs raised nearly £9,000. However, the authorities have not disclosed any information about which organisation or individual supported the family with this donation.
Cheshire Police continues to appeal for anyone with information about the incident to come forward. As the investigation continues, the community is urged to respect the privacy of Logan's family during this difficult time.
