Train collision at Altenbeken's railway station
On a typical Sunday, an unexpected event unfolded at the Altenbeken train station. A 55-year-old bus driver, whose identity remains undisclosed, found himself in an unusual situation when the doors of his bus refused to close.
The doors' malfunction led the driver to take matters into his own hands. He exited the non-functioning bus and proceeded to the location of the power supply, which was situated outside the vehicle.
In an attempt to resolve the issue, the driver manually cut the power supply at the main switch outside the bus. This action, though unconventional, successfully stopped the bus at the Altenbeken station stop.
The incident, although unusual, was quickly resolved, and no injuries were reported. The bus driver's quick thinking and actions undoubtedly prevented any potential danger, demonstrating his commitment to passenger safety.
The exact cause of the doors' malfunction is yet to be determined, and investigations are ongoing to ensure such incidents do not occur in the future. Passengers can rest assured that necessary measures will be taken to maintain the safety and reliability of public transportation.
