Train Collision in Breitnau: Two Individuals Slightly Hurt
A car accident occurred on the federal road B31 near Freiburg, Germany on August 20, 2025. The incident involved two cars, one of which was being driven by a 20-year-old individual.
According to the Freiburg Police Headquarters, the accident happened at around 19:20. The 20-year-old was reportedly driving at an inappropriate speed on a wet road, causing the vehicle to skid into the oncoming lane. As a result, the car carrying four people collided with the 20-year-old's car.
Both injured individuals were discharged from the hospital the same day. Two of the four people in the second car sustained minor injuries. The damage to the vehicles was in the low five-figure range.
