Train Wreck in Breitnau, France: Two Slightly Injured Individuals Reported
On the evening of August 20, 2025, a car accident occurred on the B31 federal road near Freiburg. The incident involved a car driven by a 20-year-old woman.
According to reports, the woman was driving at an inappropriate speed on a wet road. Her car skidded into oncoming traffic, colliding with another vehicle occupied by four people. The accident occurred at around 19:20 near the Kreuzfelsen curve.
Thankfully, both the injured parties and the woman were released from the hospital later that day. Two of the four people in the other car sustained minor injuries. The damage to the vehicles was in the low five-figure range.
