In a heart-wrenching incident, Robin Westman, formerly known as Robert Westman, walked into Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis armed and intent on murdering the parish's schoolchildren. The gunman's rampage resulted in the tragic loss of two young lives and injuries to several others before Westman turned the gun on himself.

The New York Times, in its coverage of the incident, referred to Westman as "she" and "her," a decision that has sparked controversy and debate. However, the Times feigned ignorance of the connection between transgenderism and the gunman's violence, insisting that the motive remained a mystery.

Robin Westman, in his diaries and online videos, expressed regret, stating that he was "tired of being trans" and felt he had been "brainwashed" by the trans movement. He also stated that he did not feel like a woman, but also did not feel like a man.

The trans movement, which promises love, affirmation, self-esteem, and authenticity to troubled young people, has been successful only through an enormous propaganda campaign. It includes concepts like "gender-affirming care," "trans joy," and "authentic gender identity." However, critics argue that this ideology has resulted in the mutilation of countless Americans, as seen in this tragic case.

Christopher F. Rufo, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, a contributing editor of City Journal, and the author of America's Cultural Revolution, argues that transgender ideology needs to be defeated to prevent more innocent people from suffering. He suggests that transgender ideology is responsible for catching troubled young men like Robin Westman in its web of delusion.

The ideology of transgenderism is a coercive ideology that forces others to deny reality. It promises rewards for those who affirm transgender identities and punishments for those who don't. This dangerous ideology has inspired acts of deadly violence in some cases, as evidenced by the tragic events in Minneapolis.
