Transient consequences
A 32-year-old man from Hellenthal found himself in hot water on the morning of September 4, 2023, when he was stopped by police officers on the farm and forestry road leading from Schutzstraße towards Nettersheim-Marmagen.
The incident occurred at 6:50 AM, and the driver admitted to forgetting his driver's license at home. However, it was discovered that he does not currently hold a valid driver's license.
The road in question is typically closed to regular traffic, and the driver was not allowed to continue driving. He was taken to the police station in Schleiden, where a blood sample was taken and a voluntary drug test came back positive.
As a result, a report was filed against the driver for driving without a license, and another report was filed against him for driving under the influence of drugs. The name of the driver was not disclosed in the available sources.
