Traffic Accident in Koepenick: Cyclist Hospitalized After Collision with Tram
Yesterday afternoon, a traffic accident occurred at the busy intersection of Lindenstraße and Joachimstraße in Koepenick. The incident involved a 49-year-old tram driver and a 39-year-old cyclist.
Around 8:30 PM, the cyclist, who was attempting to cross the intersection, collided with the tram, resulting in injuries to the cyclist's torso. The cyclist was promptly taken to a hospital for further treatment, and as of now, their current condition remains undisclosed in the report.
The accident disrupted tram services on lines 27, 60, 67, and 61 until approximately 9:30 PM. The services were suspended for approximately one hour due to the investigation and clearance of the scene.
