Tree accident involving a Polish driver occurred at a speed of 1.2 miles per hour on July 4th, 2025.

On Friday morning at approximately 1:30 AM, a serious incident occurred on district road 5929 between the towns of Hattingen and Emmingen. According to police reports, a Mercedes Sprinter collided with a tree, resulting in extensive damage.

The driver, a 45-year-old individual, was found to be under the influence of alcohol. A breathalyzer test revealed a reading of 1.2 per mille, and a subsequent blood test was arranged for further confirmation. The driver appeared to be unharmed, but their license was seized by the police officers who arrived at the scene.

The incident was reported via the E-Call system, and police officers discovered the severely damaged Sprinter in the grass strip near the road. No further information about the driver's condition or identity beyond their age is available at this time.
