Tropicana and Gamesys join forces for a partnership
In a series of strategic moves, UK-based software developers and well-known brands in the online gaming industry have formed partnerships with several iconic casinos in New Jersey. These partnerships, reported in July, were officially confirmed on Wednesday.
One such partnership involves Tropicana Casino Resort and Gamesys, a UK-based software developer known for Jackpotjoy.com, an online real-money bingo and casino site. With this partnership, Tropicana Casino Resort will be able to operate in New Jersey, expanding its reach in the online gaming news market.
Noel Hayden, the Chief Executive Officer of Gamesys, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, "Tropicana Atlantic City is a great partner for Gamesys as Internet gaming comes to New Jersey."
Tropicana Casino Resort, which launched its online casino platform in 2013, is part of Caesars Entertainment Corporation. It operates legally under the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement license and is already part of the New Jersey online gaming news market that includes other casinos like Borgata, Hard Rock, and Golden Nugget.
The partnership will see Gamesys providing real-money online gaming software for Tropicana Casino Resort in New Jersey. The partnership is set to be effective once Tropicana Casino Resort goes live in November.
Other notable partnerships include 888 partnering with Caesars, bwin.party partnering with Borgata, and Ultimate Poker partnering with Taj Mahal. PokerStars has also partnered with Resorts.
While the details about the roles of the CEOs of these companies in the partnerships have not been disclosed, these strategic alliances are poised to reshape the online gaming news landscape in New Jersey, offering players a wider variety of games developed by various software providers already active in the state.
