"Tuck into Homemade Ukrainian Cuisine": Experience traditional Ukrainian cooking here

In the heart of Stuttgart-Giebel, a vibrant store named Multi Cook is serving up a taste of Ukraine. The store, located at Krotenweg 3, is open 10 hours a day, 7 days a week, offering a variety of traditional Ukrainian dishes.

Behind the counter, the store's staff member is currently crafting vareniki by hand. These delicious dumplings can be filled with a variety of ingredients, such as meat, sweet or salted cheese, potatoes and mushrooms, liver sausage, or a sweet version with cherries.

The dishes at Multi Cook are prepared "just like grandma or mom used to make it." They are home-cooked and healthy, requiring only heating at home. After preparation, all dishes are stored in the store's shock freezer.

Customers can find instructions on how to prepare the dishes at home on the packaging, including a QR code for a video demonstration. This makes it easy for customers to recreate the flavours at home.

The store is managed by Nataliia Nyehai, who fled the war in Ukraine with her 10-year-old son three years ago. Prior to managing Multi Cook, Nataliia worked in a factory in Ukraine that produced baked goods like bread and held various roles including marketing and management.

Nataliia spends approximately 2 hours a day on bookkeeping and other office work. She buys all ingredients for her dishes at the Stuttgart wholesale market.

Multi Cook has over 700 branches across more than 30 countries, making it a well-known and common franchise in Ukraine. In Germany, there are two Multi Cook branches, one in Stuttgart-Giebel and one in Berlin.

The store has a large window behind the counter where customers can watch the preparation of the dishes. For those interested in staying updated on the store's offerings and events, Multi Cook Stuttgart's Instagram handle is @multicook_stuttgart.

Despite the lack of publicly available information about the founders or the company operating the Multi Cook franchise in Germany, one thing is clear: the store is a warm and welcoming place to experience a taste of Ukraine in the heart of Stuttgart.
