The surge in visitor numbers from 38 million in 2017 to over 62 million by 2024 is a testament to the sector's success. The growth has been so substantial that by 2024, tourism expanded across all 81 provinces in the country.
The Turkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) plays a crucial role in this growth. Established to boost tourism, the agency, under the leadership of its General Manager, Sinan Seha Türkseven, has launched global campaigns in over 200 countries to attract more tourists.
