Twitch Star Jrokez Perishes at 26 Following 12th-Floor Fall, Having Disclosed a Distressing Post About Feeling Overwhelmed and Fatigued
Oğuzhan Dalgakiran, a popular Twitch streaming star known as Jrokez, has sadly passed away after plunging from a 12th floor balcony in the Eryaman area of Ankara, Turkey.
The 28-year-old, who had over a million followers on social media, began live-streaming on Twitch in 2017, sharing gaming and football content with his devoted audience. His wife, Aleyna, occasionally appeared in his videos.
On the day of his death, Oğuzhan announced an unexpected break from streaming, citing exhaustion. Tragically, he died from severe injuries at the scene.
Witnesses immediately phoned emergency services, but unfortunately, Oğuzhan couldn't be saved. His body was taken for a forensic autopsy following his death.
Since the tragic news broke, Oğuzhan's social media accounts have been flooded with tributes from his fans. One fan wrote, "Rest in peace my brother. Rest in peace," while another said, "May you rest in peace beautiful person."
The circumstances surrounding Oğuzhan's death are still unclear. One fan speculated that it could be an accident that led to his fall on the balcony. Turkish newspaper Hurriyet has reported that police have launched an investigation into the incident.
Oğuzhan and his wife, Aleyna, have been married for around a year, having tied the knot in the summer of 2024.
As the Twitch community mourns the loss of one of its stars, fans continue to pay their respects. One fan wrote, "You will be missed, my friend. Rest in peace."
