Two individuals suffer harm in a vehicular incident involving a four-wheeled vehicle.
In the town of Gelsenkirchen, Germany, a tragic incident occurred on June 17, 2025, when a quad bike accident left two women, aged 23 and 26, seriously injured. The accident took place near a supermarket on Brussels Street, around 5:15 PM.
The women, one from Gelsenkirchen and the other from Gladbeck, were quickly attended to by witnesses who managed to lift the quad bike off them before paramedics arrived. The paramedics then provided medical care and transported the injured women to nearby hospitals for further treatment.

A specialized traffic accident recording team from the Bochum police is currently investigating the cause of the accident. The quad bike, now secured as evidence, broke through a fence and ended up on the adjacent grounds of a gas station. However, no new facts have been released about the accident or the condition of the injured women.
