Two individuals sustained minor injuries in a road mishap, according to Polish authorities, who also noted that the vehicles involved are no longer roadworthy.

Traffic Accident on Bremen Street in Delmenhorst

On a fateful afternoon on September 3, 2025, a traffic accident occurred in the Wesermarsch area of Delmenhorst, specifically at the intersection of Großen Tannenweg and Bremen Street.

At 15:41, a Volvo driven by a 58-year-old from Bremen was involved in a collision with a Volkswagen driven by a 63-year-old local resident. The 58-year-old was attempting to turn left onto Bremen Street, but failed to notice the oncoming Volkswagen, which had the right of way.

Both parties involved in the accident suffered minor injuries. Emergency services were promptly called to the scene, and both drivers were treated on site before being taken to hospital for further checks.

The vehicles involved in the accident were no longer roadworthy and had to be towed away. The estimated damage to property was approximately 10,000 euros.

The police are currently investigating the accident. It is believed that the 58-year-old from Bremen may have been distracted at the time of the collision.
