In the heart of central London, two separate incidents of stabbings occurred at the Oxford Circus underground station within a 24-hour period. The first incident took place at 3:40 AM on Saturday, leaving a 23-year-old man with knife injuries. The second incident occurred at 1:30 AM on Sunday, involving a 41-year-old man with stab wounds.

The British Transport Police are currently investigating these connected incidents, with no new arrests made in connection with the two assaults. DCI Gareth Davies, leading the investigation, has stated that there is no place for violence on the rail network. He is urging anyone who was in the area at the time of the incidents to get in touch and assist with the enquiries.
