In the heart of Missouri, St. Louis played host to the American Criterium Cup 2025, an event that showcased the pinnacle of cycling talent across the United States.
The men's competition saw Maurice Ballerstedt of Rose Bikes emerge victorious, securing the individual title with a total of 189 points. Brody McDonald of Golden State Blazers put up a valiant fight, finishing second overall with 178 points, just 11 points behind Ballerstedt. The podium was completed by Danny Summerhill, who earned 174 points.
In the women's competition, Aline Seitz of UTC Butcherbox Cycling p/b Look clinched the individual title with a commanding 176 points. Andrea Cyr of Fount Cycling Guild finished a close second, 21 points behind Seitz. Rylee McMullen of Virginia's Blue Ridge TWENTY28 rounded out the top three, earning 129 points.
The sprint classification was won by Rylee McMullen, who also donned the green jersey as the sprint champion. McMullen's success extended beyond the sprints, as she also claimed third place in the overall standings.
The Giro della Montagna, a prestigious event within the Bommarito Audi West Gateway Cup, saw Josephine Peloquin of LA Sweat and Richard Holec of Cadence Cyclery p/b Encore Wire take the women's and men's titles respectively. Peloquin's victory in the Giro della Montagna was a testament to her climbing prowess, as she navigated the challenging terrain with skill and determination.
Cadence Cyclery p/b Encore Wire also claimed the elite men's ACC team title at the Fulton Market Grand Prix and confirmed their victory in St. Louis.
The women's competition was highly competitive, with the top 10 final individual standings reflecting this. Aline Seitz led the pack, followed closely by Andrea Cyr, Rylee McMullen, Kendall Ryan, Josephine Peloquin, Marlies Mejias, Makayla MacPherson, Odette Lynch, Sam Quijano, and Jenna Nestman.
The men's competition was equally intense, with Maurice Ballerstedt, Brody McDonald, Danny Summerhill, Lucas Bourgoyne, Dusan Kalaba, Richard Holec, Tim Smith, Luke Fetzer, Bryan Gomez, and Preston Eye filling out the top 10.
In addition to Ballerstedt and McMullen's success in the sprints, Marlies Mejías of Virginia's Blue Ridge TWENTY28 and Lucas Bourgoyne of Cadence Cyclery [/b Encore Wire] shone in the Omnium events. Mejías won three of the four races and the women's Omnium title, while Bourgoyne won two races to secure the men's Omnium title.
Josephine Peloquin and Bryan Gomez also impressed in the Omnium events, finishing second in the women's and men's standings respectively.
