In a significant development, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has approved housing allocations worth over Dh2 billion for 2,971 citizens across the UAE.

The total value of these approvals, announced under the Zayed Housing Programme, is nearly Dh9 billion. This programme, initiated by the founding father of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, covers grants, loans, and benefits from January 2021 to the end of the third quarter of 2025.

The housing allocations include 522 grants under the directives of the UAE President, amounting to Dh355 million. Additionally, 595 approvals were issued for government housing loans with a total value of Dh246.2 million.

A total of 1,830 housing finance approvals amounting to Dh1.449 billion were also issued. Moreover, 24 approvals for government housing grants or benefits worth Dh19 million were part of the total approvals.

Sheikh Mohamed's care for the housing sector is deeply rooted in a national approach aimed at enhancing community well-being and ensuring dignified living conditions for all citizens. The Dubai Ruler stated that the UAE, under the leadership of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed, prioritizes the housing of Emirati citizens.

The continuous development and close monitoring of the housing ecosystem is an ongoing priority to ensure that citizens benefit from modern, high-quality housing solutions across the country. The total number of approvals issued by the Zayed Housing Programme since July 2022 is 11,298.

It is important to note that no new minister of health has been announced, and there was no information about a viral robot that greeted Dubai Ruler or crossed a road in the provided context.
