Area15, a unique entertainment destination in Las Vegas, Nevada, is expanding with the second phase commencing this month. The new non-casino entertainment destination, located approximately two miles from the glittery main drag, is undergoing development and is set to offer a diverse range of attractions, including a year-round haunted house from Comcast Corp.'s theme-park division, Universal Horror Unleashed.

Universal Horror Unleashed, one of the attractions within Area15, is a chilling experience that promises to keep visitors on edge. The haunted house, which opens on August 14, features a full-scale replica of the house from The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and a windblown cornfield attraction littered with decomposing bodies.

Beyond the haunted house, Area15's second phase, called Zone 2: The Terminals, offers a plethora of unique attractions. The Boeing 747 airplane reimagined as a multi-use event and nightlife venue is a standout feature, providing visitors with an opportunity to dine and dance in a unique setting.

For those seeking a more relaxed atmosphere, new bar and restaurant options such as the Midway Bar and Carousel Bar are available. Additionally, foodies can indulge in new offerings like Chilango's Tacos, Saint Honoré Doughnuts & Beignets, and Nacho Daddy.

The expansion of Area15's "retailtainment" district also includes Dolls Kill's flagship store and The Escape Game interactive experience, providing shopping and immersive event options. Furthermore, the Game Depot and Gateway Plaza Games expand the arcade and gaming offerings, catering to both casual and dedicated gamers.

As the expansion takes place, Area15 continues to distinguish itself in the entertainment landscape of Las Vegas. The new entertainment destination is being recognized as a distinct type of entertainment destination, offering more nightlife, dining, gaming, shopping, and immersive event options, deviating from the city's traditional casino-centric landscape.

Tickets for Area15's second phase, specifically for Universal Horror Unleashed, start at $59. Whether you're a thrill-seeker, a foodie, or a shopaholic, Area15's second phase promises to offer something for everyone. So, get ready to experience a new side of Las Vegas entertainment!
