Unauthorized Access to the "Wildlife" Exhibition Rooms in Trassenheide
A break-in occurred at the Wildlife Nature Experience Park in Trassenheide, Heringsdorf on September 7, 2025. The criminal police have taken over the investigation of the incident.
Between 6:05 PM on September 6, 2025, and 7:05 AM on September 7, 2025, unknown perpetrators forcibly entered the exhibition rooms and caused damage to 11 slot machines. They stole several hundred euros in cash and caused an estimated damage of around 28,000 euros.
The witness who observed the break-in called the Heringsdorf police station around 07:20 on September 7, 2025. Anyone who has made observations in this context is asked to report to the Heringsdorf police station or any other police station, or via the police's internet portal at www.polizei.mvnet.de.
