In the month of July, North Rhine-Westphalia experienced slightly above-average rainfall, recording a total of 89 liters per square meter, compared to the average of 82 liters.

The wettest day in the region was recorded at the Großer Dhünn-Talsperre measuring station, where 11 liters per square meter of rain fell on July 10th. The Wuppertal measuring station at Kläranlage Buchenhofen saw a slightly higher rainfall on July 12th, with about 13 liters per square meter.

The Bever-Talsperre measuring station in Hückeswagen recorded 108 liters of rain in July, which is 7 liters less than the average. Interestingly, the same station recorded 26 liters per square meter on July 10th, making it the wettest day at this station.
