In the ever-evolving world of automotive industry, MG Motor has made headlines for two significant announcements.

Firstly, the British automaker has announced a recall for certain MG TF roadsters manufactured in China between October 2007 and March 2009. The recall is due to a potential safety issue with the corroded rivet head of the front low control arm. The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) is overseeing this recall.

The passenger-car branch of SAIC, the parent company of MG Motor, has stated that the rivet head may come off in the recalled vehicles. To address this issue, SAIC will provide free-of-charge warranty services for the recalled vehicles.

On a positive note, MG Motor is also set to debut a new addition to its electric vehicle (EV) lineup - the MG4 EV. This new model is expected to make waves in the EV market as it is the first mass-produced EV with a semi-solid state battery.

The MG4 EV is scheduled to debut in China on August 5. The new model is anticipated to have a power output of 163hp and a projected range of 537km. The interior of the MG4 EV has been officially revealed, showcasing a revised cabin design and featuring an Oppo smart cockpit.

This article serves to inform the general public about these developments within the automotive industry, specifically focusing on MG Motor. It is essential for car owners to stay updated on recalls and for enthusiasts to keep an eye out for exciting new launches like the MG4 EV.
