Underground Military Facilities (UMFs)
In the 1980s, an electronics specialist named Paul Bennewitz stirred controversy with allegations of strange happenings in the Dulce area of New Mexico. Fast forward to the 1990s, and another figure, Phil Schneider, a geologist and engineer, gained notoriety for his claims about underground military bases and his alleged encounters with extraterrestrial beings.
Schneider's narrative suggested a collaboration between governments or military forces and alien entities. He claimed to have been involved in the construction of Deep Underground Military Bases (DUMBs), and his account implied a vast network of these bases, used for secretive purposes.
One of the most famous DUMBs is the Cheyenne Mountain Complex, known for housing NORAD and being virtually impervious to nuclear blasts. Managed by the Air Force Space Command, it is recognised for its strategic importance in national security, disaster response, and continuity of government operations. Another example is the Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center, which serves as a relocation site for the president, cabinet members, and other critical personnel in the event of a national disaster or catastrophic event.
The Raven Rock Mountain Complex (Site R) is another deep underground military base, used as a nuclear shelter and command center during crises, and often referred to as an underground Pentagon or a backup Pentagon.
The construction of these bases is said to be incredibly costly and complex, and involves the use of advanced drilling and construction techniques. The number of boring machines operated by the military or specifically for military use isn't publicly detailed, but they are often large and used for creating tunnels or underground facilities.
Thomas Castello, said to have worked as a security officer at the alleged Dulce Base, leaked detailed information about the base and its alleged alien connections. He claimed to have witnessed a confrontation between Green Berets and an underground alien force, resulting in 60 human fatalities and numerous alien casualties.
Ann West (aka Branton) compiled various testimonies and accounts about the Dulce base and its alleged alien connections into a larger narrative. Area 51, located in Groom Lake, southern Nevada, is a "secret" base famed for its association with classified military and potentially extraterrestrial research.
However, it's important to note that Schneider's claims about the Dulce, New Mexico battle and an extensive network of underground military bases have not been independently corroborated by other credible sources. The official purpose of DUMBs, such as those mentioned, can range from strategic missile installations to command and control centers, but they are also recognised for their strategic importance in national security, disaster response, and continuity of government operations.
In conclusion, while the existence and activities of underground military bases remain a topic of intrigue and speculation, their strategic importance in ensuring the safety and continuity of government operations is undeniable.
