The fraudulent activities took place on March 4 and 7, 2024, at the Sparkasse branches on Detmolder Straße and Eidinghausener Straße in Bad Oeynhausen. The men used forged passports to withdraw money from foreign accounts each time.

Security camera recordings of the incidents have been released as part of the public appeal, following a court order. The police have made the photos of the unknown men available on their NRW's search portal, which can be found at this link: https://polizei.nrw/fahndung/147153

Suspect 1 is approximately 60 years old, has a slim build, dark, thinning hair with a receding hairline, and was wearing a dark jacket. He spoke German without an accent.

Suspect 2 is approximately 50 years old and has a stocky build. During the crime, he wore a light jacket, a dark scarf, and a gray tie. He communicated with the bank employees in English.

The public is asked to provide any information about the identities or current whereabouts of the men in the photos. Modern tools like automatic face recognition software or reverse image search can be used to identify persons in images or find related information online.
