Mystery Surrounding Female Skeletal Remains Found in Brooklyn's Cypress Hills Area
In a bid to identify a set of skeletal remains discovered on August 6, the NYPD is reaching out to New Yorkers for help. The remains were found by Department of Transportation workers near the Jackie Robinson Parkway westbound Exit 1, but the exact location within the Cypress Hills area of Brooklyn remains undisclosed.
The victim is described as a female between approximately 20 to 30 years of age, standing at a height between 4 feet, 5 inches and 5 feet, 2 inches. She has dark brown curly hair with bleached ends and a distinctive rose tattoo on her upper-left buttock. Her race could be Black or Hispanic, although this is not definitively known.
The victim was also adorned with a silver metal ring with a pink heart-shaped diamond and a piercing. These unique pieces of jewellery may provide crucial clues in identifying the woman.
The cause of death is currently being determined by the city medical examiner's office, and as of now, no information about the woman's name is available in the search results.
