Unidentified trespasser spotted in the garden - eyewitnesses in pursuit
In the quiet residential area of Heckenstraße and Glescher Straße in Bergheim, Germany, an unknown individual was reported to have broken into a garden on Saturday evening.
According to the Polizei Rhein-Erft-Kreis, the incident was first transmitted via news aktuell. The police were called by the resident following the incident, and upon arrival, they found traces of the suspect at the scene.
The suspect allegedly tampered with a surveillance camera before fleeing when the victim turned on the garden lights. The resident heard rustling in the bushes after the suspect fled, suggesting they may have headed towards Glescher Straße.
Despite a thorough search, the officers did not find the suspect. They have, however, initiated an investigation into the incident, and a criminal complaint was filed by the officers.
